About Maps We Made

City maps of the places locals keep recommending: restaurants, biryani, cafés, markets, places to visit, weekend getaways, hotels and pubs, so far in Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Jaipur, Vadodara, Gurgaon, Thane, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Coimbatore, Noida, Bhopal, Vijayawada, Navi Mumbai, Surat, Mangalore, Vizag, Calicut, Nashik, Amritsar, Udaipur, Guwahati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kanpur, Dehradun, Nagpur, Thrissur, Mysore, Indore, Varanasi, Gandhinagar, Siliguri, Rajkot, Patna, Pondicherry, Trivandrum, Ranchi, Jodhpur, Warangal, Kolhapur, Ludhiana, Agra and Madurai. Every place shows why people recommend it, what they warn about, and links to the original comments so you can read them yourself.

When someone asks where to eat, shop, explore and stayin their city, the most useful answers are often in that city's subreddit: specific, first-hand and argued over. They are also scattered across hundreds of threads. We read those threads and put what people agree on, and what they disagree about, on one map. Today our maps come mostly from public Reddit threads, and we are adding other public sources.

For each place we count who recommends it and who warns against it, and why. Well-known places people are split on are named in the map's introduction rather than pinned. Summaries are drafted with AI from the cited comments only, and we check them against those comments. Addresses and whether a place is still open come from public map listings; we never show their star ratings or review text.

We never take payment for a place. No business can pay to be added, moved up or removed.
